How to get rid of mood swings caused by pms?

pms
ANB asked:

A lot of really happy things have happened this past week, but sadly my hormones are causing me to be sad for no reason because of pms.
Is there anything at all to help this? Vitamins, etc?

Ugh, I am having the same problem now! I really don't know what to do myself either, I really don't think there is any vitamins or pills. Try doing some of your fav things, like shopping with ya girlfriends, going to the gym with friends, just talking, etc..things like that. Hope I have been of some help to you!

Good luck!

just being aware of where the emotional crap is coming from is helpful. if u feel like crying.. do it! if u get cranky… embrace it..

Hormone imbalances are very common during pre-menstruation, however, they are not necessarily incurable. But the causes and remedies are so different from person to person that I would recommend you see a recommended nutritionist or acupuncturist and have your specific condition diagnosed. But generally the best thing you can do is eat right and take it easy. NO sugar, do not gratify cravings for grease and chocolate. Eat plenty of healthy balanced foods, whole grains, fruits and veggies and up your intake of B12 vitamins and omega-3 fatty acids.
